Mr Fixit
Just how useful is a zip tie? How about fixing the shelf that hangs off the driver’s door when a screw just doesn’t work?
What about on a rainy Sunday afternoon and your windscreen wiper starts to come apart off the wiper. Shops are closed and you’re a tight arse anyway?
What about every time you get in the car, ready to click clack and you can never find the clicker to put the clacker into?
Zip ties. What will they fix next?
Unfortunately the engine wasn’t able to be fixed with a zip tie. And also Anthea’s hiking packpack could not also be fixed with a zip tie. The waist belt replacement cost $50 but I ended up getting it fixed for $20. I got the new clicker for $5, then got a length of belt from the mountaineering shop, then got it stitched up for $12. So it’s a lot cheaper and also less waste.
